How do I use Netcom3?
The basic operations of
Netcom3 are as follows:
Scanning your Registry:
Click the Start button in the Netcom3 Main window, select
only the registry items that you want to scan and remove. Click the
Start Scan button to begin the scanning process. During the
scan you can cancel by clicking the Cancel button.
Repairing your Registry:
Once the scan is complete, a list of problems is displayed. By
default, all the identified errors are selected for removal. You can
view the errors and the location of each, you can modify which of
these items are selected, and you can send items to the Ignore list
or remove them. To remove items, click the Fix Errors button.
A backup is automatically made should you encounter issues and need
to restore the changes.

Restoring removed registry items:
If you want to restore any errors that have been previously
corrected you can do so by clicking the Backup button in the
Main window. A list of all the backup files is displayed.
To restore a backup, check the box next to the item to restore and
click the Restore button.
To delete any previous backups, check the boxes next to the items
you would like to remove and click the Remove button.
